Cultivating Dreams with Deep Roots
HighlandGround was born from a shared vision and 30 years of experience. Our founders, Javier Estrada and Micaela González, met in the field—literally. For a quarter of a century, they forged parallel paths of excellence: Javier as an expert in advanced irrigation systems, and Micaela as a landscape architect specializing in sustainability.
The seed of HighlandGround took root when they united their complementary talents. Javier, with his practical approach and mastery of water systems, and Micaela, with her creative vision and respect for the land, built a company where beauty and efficiency are nurtured from the same source.
Our first major project, the “Las Lomas” golf course, established our DNA: designing spectacular landscapes that work in harmony with the environment while conserving resources through smart technology. Since then, we have overcome economic and environmental challenges by innovating with solutions such as vertical gardens, always guided by our unwavering commitment to quality and sustainability.
